Today I
had lunch at Tong Tji (along Simpang Lima) with Ryan and his friend (whose name
I forgot, sorry). After that, I asked him to bring me to… (Uh, I forgot the
name of the place, but I’m sure it was near RS Kariadi, the hospital) to watch
3030 with Zaky and his friends, Iva and Kali, and Tika. 3030 is this laser
light show + skit sponsored by Tri, one of the telecommunications companies in
Indonesia. While the whole show looked cool was pretty funny (I assume so – I
didn’t understand much cause it was all in Indonesian, hahaha!), it was basically
a huge promotion-advertisement for the company and its new products/services.
It was fun, I guess.
Iva and
Kali went with some other friends for dinner, while I went to JCo Java Mall
with Dimas, Alvin, and Khresna. Zaky didn’t come because he was busy (as
always). Yesterday though, Zaky got into a motorcycle-car accident, so his bike
was wrecked, so he took one of his friends’ motorcycles to get home. That meant
I had to ride with Alvin, and Dimas with Khresna.
We spent about one-two hours at JCo, just hanging out. They’re really friendly! I also taught them a few Filipino words and sentences, and they taught me some other things too, like about Alvin’s home town, Batam Island. He even showed me pictures, and his place really did look pretty. A little while later, the guys brought me home. :)
